Hi folks,
I hope you guys can give me some hints on my problem: I am new to icenhancer and yesterday was the first time I installed it. I downgraded my Steam version of the game to 1.0.4.0, then installed Icenhancer. Everything works fine, but the performance is terrible (with every setting in game maxed out). I get around 16 fps most of the time. So I checked CPU and GPU usage with aida64 (CPU) and gpu-z (for gpu, since msi afterburner won't work). I discovered that cpu is at aroud 35% load and gpu at around 50%. To make clear my PC should be working fine, I can play games like bf3 and crysis2 without any performace issues. Here is my setup:
Radeon HD 7970 (driver up2date, 12.2(3)) @1000/1425 Mhz i2500K @stock 8 GB Ram Playing @1920x1200
SO, what could cause this? I mean the game should either be limited by CPU or GPU, but both at that low usage, how could that be possible? I discovered that if I disable shadows and lower settings for view/details distance, the GPU load greatly increases to 90% and more. CPU still is at around 35%.
Thanks in advance!

Yes I read that already. But nothing there that could help me. Perhaps it really is a problem with the newer AMD Cards then. I also have this problem with other ENB mods, so it is not exclusively for icenhancer.

I noticed that with version 1.0.7.0 I am getting a decent load on CPU and GPU. Perhaps 1.0.4.0 doesn't work well with amd cards.

With Patch 1.0.7.0 R* solved some Problems with AMD Cards, but Icenhancer isn't supposed to run on that patch. So it's either Nice Graphics or nice Performance And Ren... most stupid advice I ever had to read...
