Please close all bg programs while running IV, like MSI Afterburner or XFire ect.

Revert back to 1.0.4.0 through downgrading, also install Cars on manually. Never use car packs.

1. Download this "fonts.zip": www.mediafire.com/?futz7h44s425gz62. Open the folder "X:\(...)\Steam\SteamApps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\common\data" and copy the files "fonts.dat" and "fonts_r.dat" as a backup to any other folder. 3. Copy both files that are contained in the "fonts.zip" to the folder "X:\(...)\Steam\SteamApps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\common\data" and overwrite the existing ones. 4. That's it.

You downloaded 1.2, if you don't like it you could reinstall IV and download iCE 2.1 (newest version)Go to the GTA IV tab located in the gaming section. You should be able to download 2.1 from there. You should get any issues now. If you still want to use iCE 1.2 I suggest you install xliveless too. Copy both xlive.dll & xlive_d.dll into the main GTA IV achive.

It's even too bright on 1.0.4.0? Please make sure that you have this version. You'll need both xlive.dll & xlive_d.dll into the main GTAIV root folder.

Just as hbt15 said, starting GTA IV through gta4.exe OR LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin should fix that problem

Remove scripthook.net, try closing all bg programs too. Also start GTA IV through LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin.

Your processor could be an issue, most people have reported that GTA IV runs worse on AMD CPUs and GPUs. So... maybe it'll run worse or better :/ GTA IV is strange sometimes...

iCEnhancer is activated the moment you start GTA IV. It shouldn't eat that much of performance when deactivated. Also, I forgot to tell you something important about performance regarding IV... On many PC setups with AMD cards & CPU's, GTA IV runs much worse than on weaker NVIDIA GPUs/CPUs. I suggest you try to rent or buy an NVIDIA card and see... Other then that, I don't know what else you could do, sorry

GTA IV is an extremely CPU intensive game. I'd suggest that you update your CPU. Also, try closing all bg programs while running IV.
About the graphic issues, please make sure that you copy only the content of the iCEnhancer 1.0.4.0 folder into the main GTA IV folder. Is your GTA IV a standalone retail copy? Reinstalling GTA IV once again could help too.
Btw, iCEnhancer is activated by default, you don't need to press Shift+F12.

I need to know which version of GTA IV you are using. Please make sure that you are using an asi loader (best would be xliveless).

Is Vsync set to on in graphic settings? Also, it could be an issue inside the INI, have you modified any file of iCEnhancer and/or GTA IV?
