Hi all! I have GTA IV, patched with 1.0.4. Without iCEnhancer it runs very well, but when i put it (1.3/1.2) it goes forever loading (the loadscreens problem) and if I go to graphic settings, GTA says me that I do not have enough memory - 250/58MB. If I go to the options in retail GTA IV, my memory is 1000/2000MB.
I have: Intel Core i7 4 Quads, 8 Threats, Intel SmatCache 6MB L3, Intel TurboBoost 3.00Ghz NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M - 2048MB DDR3 2x4GB RAM DDR3
Thanks!

Create a new text file and name it: commandline Then type these lines in it: -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -percentvidmem 100 Type it EXACTLY like displayed here. Put that file in GTA IV directory. This should fix the memory issue. And about the forever loading issue...Installed an Asi loader (dsound.dll or xliveless ect)? Some say that reinstalling the game could help. Also setting default profile in Nvidia control panel/Catalyst Control Center helped for some people. Maybe installed iCEnhancer wrong? Installation could be corrupt too. I hope you'll fix it soon

And what about teh hardware - is it good, can I overheat it? It's I think you mean't overclock. If you want to overclock it, you can do but it should run pretty good like it is already.

No, no I mean I don't want to overheat the videocard... Ahh. lol. Yeah. Be careful with iCEnhancer if your using Nvidia Graphic Cards. Just check your temperatures and if it's too high try to raise the percentage of the fan speed.

Dmc prince ,This is a example of the optimus problem ,When iCEnhancer is installed,GTA IV uses intel GPU(That's the reason for low memory),Vladchoo ,Just see if your laptop has some bios option to disable optimus ,if it there's then fine, or else i'm sorry iCEnhancer doesn't work laptops with nvidia optimus

Didn't notice that he is using a Laptop with Optimus. Thank you very much mate. And also thanks for the support. As always. I'll ask Hayssam if he can promote you to Moderator or Global Moderator. It's seems that I don't have this power.

Oh yes... the Optimus... I can disable it from the NVIDIA Control Panel, at least I think so. Thanks for the support!
But you think the hardware is good, right?

vladchoooIf I remember right, not every laptop has the option to disable optimus. If this option is not included for your laptop then, you can't play it. Good night.

Can I go with ENB? Will it be alternative for iCEnhancer?

Can I go with ENB? Will it be alternative for iCEnhancer? LOL. iCEnhancer is based on ENB. You can find many different settings and stuff on popular GTA mod pages. For example: www.gta4-mods.com/search/enb
