Hey all, Been really getting into GTA more and more lately and im looking to really update the way it looks. Saw this INCREDIBLE looking video showing off intense graphics, that I know my system can handle. Followed all the instructions to the T, and I received 2 different errors. One being that D3D had encountered a critical error. I managed to get around that one, then another came up at the same time stating that I was out of video Memory before the game even began. Tried fixing it with the startup parameters and those didn't fix it. So, I ended up just re loading in everything and found out what was causing the crash. %) in the description of the video which added Antialiasing caused the game to have that error. So I simply didnt do that step and the game loaded... But, of course, it didnt turn out correctly. I had some extreme fuzz in game and nothing looked nice at all. It was really blurry, and as if I had an old tv and was on a wrong channel. Picture is here (Not the best, but the fuzz you see on screen is the fuzz that is being experienced in game) My Specs are: CPU Intel Core i5 GFX Card: ATI GIGABYTE HD 7850 OC RAM: 16GB Any ways on how to fix either issue would be appreciated.. Really want to get my graphics to the point of that video for recording LCPDFR.

You installed the XLiveLess? What is the version of your game?
Open the "commandline.txt" and put this:
-nomemrestrict -norestrictions -availablemem 2.5

I'm unsure what xliveless is. I certainly don't have it I don't think. What does it do and is it necessary? I'm running 1.0.7.0. I also tried the command line parameters and it still didnt work. This was a few days ago that I tried that.

Is required for the game to read the time cycle Without it you will have white colors and ugly effects

Thanks for the info, I managed to get the effects to work finally. I started it in windowed mode, and then realized that the size of the screen in the options was much too big for my resolution so I went into the ICenhanceher ini and changed the size. However, upon getting in game I have a sort of "Drunkeness" effect.
Everything is much more blurry than it seems it should be.
I think that has to do with not having xliveless. If you have a link to the most recent, it'd be appreciated. I tried googling for it but cant seem to find a copy.

Actually, just got the xliveless dll'2 and put them in my GTAIV folder and it caused the screen fuzzing problem.

Are you using the ENB & iCEnhancer 1.3 V6 Update by Fonia5? Want to try iCEnhancer 1.3/1.35 Update V6 by Fonia5 Modified by me?

Alright man, so I figured out everything with the ENB. I ended up switching to 1.0.4.0 and then the ENB worked the last way I installed it. It still works now, but barely. I even managed to update to 1.0.7.0 and have it work (Despite no AA, SSAO, and DOF, due to the new patch not allowing those etc.)
My problem now is adjusting the resolution of the mod in order for it to work with my screen resolution.
Currently, when I start the game, the resolution is way too large. I adjusted it to my resolution: 1280x1024 in the iceconfig.ini and then added those same parameters to my commandline, however, now my map, money, pause screen, and location are all shown in the wrong spots of the screen.

Try changing "ForceDisplaySize=false" to "ForceDisplaySize=true"
And put this parameter in commadiline -fullscreen
No need to put the same parameters on the commandline
