Hello GTA Gamers, i've installed the latest version and i own the Steam-Version of the game.
Everything works fine except the moviefilter (Filmgrain). At daytime everything is fine and the grain is barley noticeable but at nighttime the grain is so extreme that i cant see anything!
I tryed to deactivate the filmgrain in the iceconig tool but it has no effect?
Does somebody have the same problem? Can anybody help?

Do you have iCEnhancer 2.1 installed? Or annother version? If 2.1 then go to this folder: iCEnhancer2.1_FINAL/1.0.7.0-EFLC/2-shaders/ Read the readme. Be sure to install xliveless (copy both xlive.dll & xlive_d.dll into the main GTA IV folder). You could revert GTA IV to 1.0.4.0 through downgrading, you shouldn't get any issues like this one on 1.0.4.0. Also you'll be able to use all effects (Latest versions of GTA IV can't support all effects of iCEnhancer).

If the grain still persists then delete effect.txt
