Hello All! I just have some quick questions before installing the mod, to make sure I have everything good to go. 1) I am unsure (and therefore worried) about the overheating business that was stated in the original readme files for this mod. My computer is running on: Core i7 2500K OC'd to 4.50GHz EVGA NVIDIA GTX 580 SC 16GB RAM Antec 900 case with 3x 80mm and 1x 200mm fans Everything is clean, and temps are normal when idle and under load (~20C idle, ~30C-40C in BF3). I know that my system will run the mod, but will it run it descently well? And, more importantly, it won't overheat right? I think it's just me being paranoid, but I want to make sure with someone who runs the mod with similar specs before attemtping to use the mod. Don't want to have to pay another $500 for a new graphics card! 2) I will be installing the mod on a clean installation of GTA IV patched to 1.0.4.0. I hear from Neolux that with an older version of ScriptHook, this mod will work with other mods, such as custom script mods, like ELS and LCPD:FR. He even posted a video showing the use of modded textures with LCPD:FR simultaneously. Has anyone tried this as well? Can I just use ScriptHook 0.4.0 and it will allow me to use virtually any mod that is designed for 1.0.7.0? Thanks in advance, all! This will really help me in installing the game, the mod, and other mods as well! I really appreciate it!

Anyone have any ideas on question (2), the one about the scripts? And also, I've only played 1.0.7.0 before. Do I need to have a R* Social account to play? What if I use xlive.dll to remove multiplayer, since I won't be playing online anyways? I don't want to have that and GFWL junk installed on my computer. Thanks!

1) I guess depends on what kind of degrees your graphic card can handle. I got an 260 GTX so I've been keeping an eye on my degrees, I play GTAIV on 75C 'cause basicly I have no fans so I turn my fans that are inside the graphic card to 60% and then I'm fine but alot of noise lol xD. But honestly most games give me 75C, Kingdoms of Amalur even gave me 77C. So you should be fine if BF3 gives you only 40C. Also, when it starts to overheat your graphic card will make more noise than usuall, so that way you'll know and then you can exit the game. But you should be fine 100%.
Sorry have no real good answer for 2) but for 3) You don't need a social account as far as I know, since my bro didn't even use one, which btw you could just test. Just play it without social and if you can't enter then install it? I've never installed GFWL though. Just installed the social stuff, but I think you don't need it.

Alright, thanks to all for the input! I will try the mod out over the next couple of weeks and see how it works out. I will post any feedback, problems, and solutions here so that others will have an idea of what to expect from modding the game with a system similar to mine.
