So I downloaded 2.0N just a while ago and after installing the game launches properly and when I load a savegame it crashes after the last mission name disappears.
Can it be related to the fact that I installed it over 1.2 version?
Obviously I've followed that link which was in 'what if it crashes' file.

I had the same problem, that come from the file "timecyc.dat" in GTAIV\pc\data. Just put the "timecyc.dat" from the "icenhancer 2 standard" version and that will work. Hope they will fix it soon. But if you want the best graphic you have to patch it to 1.0.4.0 (in case if you didn t know that before  ) and all will work good. |

Could you upload that file and post the download link? I don't know if there's any download link to standard 2.0 version and it weighs only about 50kb.

Sounds exactly like the same problem I'm having...crashes on the black load screen showing the mission you completed last....hopefully that file can get posted somewhere.

could you please upload only the timecyc.dat,i don't want to download 300 mb with 30kb/s just for one file with 50 kb ^^

I've got question. Game downloads patch 1.0.7.0 each time when I got 1.0.4.0 version and want to connect to multiplayer. Can I somehow play online with 1.0.4.0 patch? I've got orginal version.

1.0.4.0 doesn't support Multiplayer, just 1.0.7.0.... You have to choose between using Ice or MP |

having trouble to download this file, im waiting like 2/3mins and the try to click on "Download file" but it doesn't start, anyhelp?

ok what it did (i have gta iv 1.0.7.0 on steam) is i installed ice 2.0N, then when i started the game it crashed like all you guys said. so then i turned all the graphics settings all the way down and then the game still crashed but this time it gave me a message that said GTAIV FATAL ERROR: You are out of video memory....blahblahblah... so then after digging around, im pretty sure the video memory error is due to turning off shadows, since ice probably has ilovepoop tons of them. so if you get that error, i recommend turning on shadows, and make sure to turn on night shadows as well.
so to fix the main crash (no error, just crash) i simply replaced the timecyc.dat like you guys were saying, except instead of downloading 300mb or whatever for the whole package, i simply replaced it with my old timecyc.dat from ice 1.35
hope this helps, also if anyone uploads a newer timecyc.dat please post it!!
update: the sun reflections actually come off as a green color, kind of annoying. dont really want to fix this.. anyone want to try to change the sun color in the timecyc file..
