no, xliveless is only for gtaiv old patches, gtaiv 1.0.7 and eflc 1.1.2 DON'T need xlive and xliveless to be modded, just dsound.dll.
gtaiv old patches need xliveless because timecyc and some stuff are locked, and need xlive only to run cracked (illegal) version, but newest patch and eflc are "unlocked" so don't need xlive or/and xliveless (and dsound is only for asi loader mods)...
moderators should know this, you can ask to boris.v or hayssam to be sure if you want.

I have GTA IV 1.0.4.0 but 2.0N, it´s visually better than 2.1F and GTA EFLC 1.0.7.0 the red sky appears in EFLC, Cry !! you can replace gta_atmostcatt_clouds.fxc for stock ones (in shaders folder) but you'll get the stock "ugly" sky... Also I read to DKT70 in his RealityIV ENB: www.gta4-mods.com/misc/realityiv-enb-beta-wip-10-f11364but some people have trolling him and is tired and has left forums and drop his work so nothing until Boris Vorontsov fix this thing (hes the only one can do it, no icelaglace and no other unafortunately)

DON'T use xliveless with EFLC, you just need dsound.dll, no xlive and no xliveless. Only with dsound.dll u'll can play with multiplayer too

Open iceshader.fx with notepad, search contrast and saturation and decrease it.

So the 4 codes I posted all of them are in GLSL code from Skyrim? I'm a noob but I'm not sure about that... thanks anyways for response It is HLSL code ,not GLSL ,but it isnt just post processing code ,It's needs acess to many parameters which im not sure is supported in GTA IV ,where did you get this code again from? legacyy deleted my post check the ENB Series forum link, there are all info authors, editers, adapters... yay, where was my brain yesterday then maybe some guys i know can do it... they find it "very interesting" xD Really? Good news so, thanks legacyy Ps. Like I said Im just a noob but if you need I can search for more codes if it can help to any developer in anyway

At extrasunny the shadows are really sharpen, and more at over short distances as in the screen I posted, then at long distance shadows are more blurred. But legacyy, you always can decrease to medium quality if you prefer that "modern soft" shadows and you'll get an awesome performance

spoiler doesn't work here -.- SSAO is from Elder Scrolls Oblivion modificaten i think and is GLSL Code.. but in gta HLSL Code is needed, so that can't work. So the 4 codes I posted all of them are in GLSL code from Skyrim? I'm a noob but I'm not sure about that... thanks anyways for response

oh man, why delete the codes? can you put a spoiler or something please? these codes can help to anybody on development... Why you says that doesn't work? really are you checked all codes I posted so quickly? if you are on steam then you have 1.0.7.0. shadows are better in 1040 with Ice 2.1 and leec said the rest ;D Are you sure? GTAIV 1.0.4.0 very high on icenhancer 2.1 EFLC 1.1.2.0 very high on icenhancer 2.1 Agree

If you downgrade your game u'll get SSAO effect and skylighting effect (fake ambient occlusion) but you lose multiplayer, shadows quality and some bugs corrections and optimization.
Ps. Im ussing 1.0.4 too (for single player) and looks oversaturated too , on this thing i prefer ice 2.0 more natural in my opinion

I found some setts with SSAO codes but I am just a noob, anybody can explain me how and where to import the codes to iceshader (i supose is in iceshader.fx right?) or if it does or doesn't work and I have to check for another .fx codes? please?
