well, in my opinion first of all, nvidia 8000GT series and ati HD4000 series have no sense to play GTAIV + ENB. I do not checked 660ti and 7970, but yes 460 and 6870 by myself. oh yes, and I said on a phenom 945, not 955 I play at 1920x1080 with all effects at max too, only view distance is not up to the max because overcharge the CPU, and a friend with a i7 2700 tell me he can NOT use 100/100 of view distance, but not tested by myself... and shadows at high if I play on 1.0.7.0 because this render have much more quality than old patches and overcharge my GPU (and very high on old patches) but in bouth I have better performance with 6870 than 460. I tried the main ENB: DKT70, DP3, L3EVO, ICE, and even your own ENB mix and the mostly of gta4-mods from last 3 years. ps: you said your 2600k and gtx580 wasn't cheap when you bought it? well, I guess you are a lucky guy with a very good job, good for you, I have to settle for a more modest budget, but believe me I play >35 fps @ 1080p and I'm very happy

It's a FACT that GTA IV runs really bad on AMD Cards, Nvidia have a MUCH better performance. About Processor i don't really know... that shouldn't be the problem. FPS always depend on Ingame Setting and the ENB you use, I have 30-40fps with my current ENB and gtx580/2600k. So you can't tell in general about it. Try to inform yourself before you write something you don't know about I really want see that "MUCH better performance" I have a 6870 and my brother a gtx460, believe me, I know what I'm talking about, and you don't need a i7 2600k + gtx580 to play gtaiv with ENB mate, but good for you, you have very very cheap and powerful PC, congrats

Depends on your preferences:
- If you want a proper gameplay (multiplayer, optimization...) you should use GTAIV 1.0.7.0 or TBoGT 1.1.2.0
- If you want proper screenshots (all ENB effects from the current beta version of ENBSeries) you should use GTAIV 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.3.0

Please tell me the rest of your PC specs. GTA IV has bad support for New cards & AMD cards/processors, runs bad with them on most PC's. What? I have a phenomII 945 (OC), hd6870, 4gb ram and I run GTAIV with ENB with maxed settings (only not-max the view distance and shadows render) and I get 35-50fps I'm reading a lot of nonsense, could inform better before misinform people? just a suggestion for a Moderators

1. Are there some disadvantages or bader graphic compared to a ENB mod running on 1.0.4.0? I've read that ENB only has full power on 1.0.4.0. The current ENBSeries is in BETA (v0.082b) and icenhancer is this beta ENB too (only change the name), and with newest patch SSAO and skylighting not work. If someday Boris Vorontsov finish of ENB development for GTAIV will be fixed, but at the moment is what we have I'm not sure, but in the screens looks like "dreamy" sunrise, try Yes, due to skylighting issue, but in this forum "china green elvis" has posted a FIX for red sky bug and works like a charm, but I don't know how works in that ENB you mention, you can try Yes, but you can use whatever you want, just replace the files Doesn't matter. ----------------- @dmcprince You'll need to patch GTA IV to 1-0-4-0 if you have the CD version, Why? EFLC is 1.0.7.0 by default. I'm not sure if EFLC v1.1.0.0 is the same as GTAIV v1.0.7.0, but EFLC v1.1.2.0 is NEWEST (use newest shaders and stuff) than GTAIV v1.0.7.0.

nobody have idea then? :S
can be this part?
//lenzuv.xy=0.5-lenzuv.xy; //distfact=0.5-lenzuv.xy-0.5;
if (LenzParameters.x>0.00001) { for (int i=0; i<15; i++) { float2 distfact=(In.txcoord0.xy-0.5); lenzuv.xy=offset[i].x*distfact; lenzuv.xy*=pow(2.0*length(float2(distfact.x*ScreenSize.z,distfact.y)), offset[i].y); lenzuv.xy*=offset[i].z; lenzuv.xy=0.5-lenzuv.xy;//v1 // lenzuv.xy=In.txcoord0.xy-lenzuv.xy;//v2 float3 templenz=tex2D(SamplerBloom2, lenzuv.xy); templenz=templenz*factors[i]; distfact=(lenzuv.xy-0.5); distfact*=2.0; templenz*=saturate(1.0-dot(distfact,distfact));//limit by uv 0..1 // templenz=factors[i] * (1.0-dot(distfact,distfact)); float maxlenz=max(templenz.x, max(templenz.y, templenz.z)); /* float3 tempnor=(templenz.xyz/maxlenz); tempnor=pow(tempnor, tempF1.z); templenz.xyz=tempnor.xyz*maxlenz; */ float tempnor=(maxlenz/(1.0+maxlenz)); tempnor=pow(tempnor, LenzParameters.y); templenz.xyz*=tempnor;
// templenz*=maxlenz*maxlenz; lenz+=templenz; // lenz.xyz=max(lenz.xyz, templenz.xyz*0.99); } lenz.xyz*=0.25*LenzParameters.x;
bloom.xyz+=lenz.xyz; // bloom.w=dot(lenz.xyz, 0.333); bloom.w=max(lenz.xyz, max(lenz.y, lenz.z)); } return bloom; }
but i do not see any RGB parametters here....

I want make a little mix, I want the sun effect from icenhancer 2.0 (yellow and with sunrays) but I want the multicolor lensflare effect from 2.1 instead of the yellow line from 2.0,
so the question is: what part exactly correspond to lensflare in the bloom to replace it?

PSU 700w is excesive, is better a 500-600w but a quality and efficient psu than to much wattios but poor efficient/quality.
about cpu-gpu I have to agree, very powerful cpu but a poor gpu, you don't need that super cpu, his performance doesn't worth for the overprice, and that gpu really sucks, go to a HD6950 or HD7850 or higher.

To make the game look like the ones shown in the pics, use GTA IV 1.0.4.0 version as it'll support all effects. the friend said is playing on "lost and damned" and this can not be downgrade, even eflc 1.0.0.0 is newest than gtaiv 1.0.7..... so icenhancer have no support, thats all.
