So, GTA IV by itself runs very bad? Lower your ingame res + settings too, AMD cards usually are pretty bad for GTA IV. Try to rent a Nvidia Card from a friend & see. Use Gamebooster too: www.iobit.com/gamebooster.htmlYou could download the iCEnhancer config tool too, on the official page. Go to the gaming tab, then GTA IV tab, and download it. Read the readme and after installation & startup go to the "performance" tab. Lower the shadow filtering and SSAO levels.

GTA IV has bad support for AMD cards in general, especially Radeon HD 6xxx & 7xxx...
Try to get a decent Nvidia Card, GTX 560 for example.

If you aren't playing on the steam version anymore, i suggest patch it to 1.0.4.0 after installation like kristiannn said & installing xliveless (Copy & paste both xlive.dll & xlive_dll into the main GTA IV root folder. Note: GFWL will be disabled by xliveless, anyway you can't play Multiplayer or anything similiar based on GFWL on 10.4.0.

Tell me your name, split & I'll unban you. Be careful on what you post, don't double post things... Btw, long links to pages are considered as spam too, facebook bans such "spammers"automatically.

So you won't have any problems anymore i suggest reinstalling GTA IV or using backup of IV. 1. After that install iCEnhancer. 2. Then download xliveless3. Copy & paste both xlive.dll & xlive_d.dll into the main GTA IV folder. 4. Download this Scripthook5. Place the Scripthook.dll into your GTA IV root folder. 6. Download the Traffic Load Fix and place TrafficLoad.asi & TrafficLoad.ini into the main GTA IV folder. 7. Start the game through LaunchGTAIV.exe and see 8. (Bonus step) If it still doesn't work, copy & paste the msvcr100d.dll (located in the traffic load fix folder) into the main GTA IV folder.

Uh, I guess so Me, iCE himself + other popular modders are playing GTA IV with cracks since the beginning. I don't see why we shouldn't support it

I think you should get these "drops" only in "high populated/higher density of objects" areas, that's normal.
If you get these drops everytime turning the camera or anything else, try this (credit to legaccy):
Create a textfile called commandline.txt
Write this in the file:
-availablevidmem 2.2 -norestrictions -nomemrestrict -noprecache
Save the file and place it in your GTA IV root folder.

Hi there, I'm gonna help you a bit with the installation process and crack installation ect. 1. Fresh install of GTA IV 2. Install Patch 4 (Maintence Update 1.0.4.0) 3. Download this and copy & paste both files into your GTA IV directory. 4. Install iCEnhancer 2.1, copy all "main files" into the main GTA IV folder. 5. Copy & paste xlive.ddl & xlive_d.dll into the main GTA IV folder. 6. Start GTA IV through LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin.

For the people with too dark lights - Go to iceconfig and make the "colorpow" to 1 on all lights. gaskell, that's a problem you get on 1.0.7. Try 1.0.4. You get a lot more effects and none of these bugs. Thank you for the support, kristiannn

Thanks, it works, but I'm seeing the stock clouds, I'm doing something wrong? I asked because everybody says "downgrade to 1.0.4.0" even if the people asked for EFLC... lol and with GTAIV I was made a downgrado to 1.0.4.0 but I was can't play on multiplayer, GFWL just doesn't work, so finally I have to update (steam) to the last version again... Every icenhancer is restricted just for some concrete versions and all are to old, too many sacrifices to enjoy the "proper" version of the mod, and even with this the gameplay never looks like the screens or videos, I think this mod just doesn't worth the sacrifice of the downgrade, only can worth for who don't care about gameplay or multiplayer, but have the game exclusively to make screenshots or record sweety movies with video editor Not only iCEnhancer is getting problems with 1.0.7.0/Steam/EFLC. You see, iCEnhancer is based on ENB and this just doesn't support these versions. Every graphic mod for IV looks worse and gets certain bugs on these version (1.0.7.0/EFLC) If you have IV, just downgrade/patch it to 1.0.4.0 and install iCEnhancer. You can enjoy SP gameplay now, no bugs ect. Backup the game now. After this, leave IV/EFLC as it is, install iCEnhancer 1.25 or 2.1 and you are ready to play it. MP works here, but you get bugs and other stuff... If you did everything right, you should have 2 GTA IV copies, one for SP, Story, Screenshots ect. and the other one for MP....

Yeah I suggest buying a GTX 560, GTX 275 or something similiar. If you can't afford it right now, I suggest buying a GTX 550TI It's fine.

looks like you use 1.0.7.0/eflc. there will never be a fix for that. Downgrade to 1040 and you won't have it any more. How could downgrade EFLC? to EFLC v1.0.0.0 works? EFLC gets the issue, you can't downgrade it, only GTA IV can be downgraded. You could try this: gtaiv.chinagreenelvis.com/skyfix/

Please tell me the rest of your PC specs.
GTA IV has bad support for New cards & AMD cards/processors, runs bad with them on most PC's.
